The Atelier
Marqami — from the Arabic root ر · ق · م, to mark, to inscribe — is a global house of limited-edition art posters. Each piece is conceived as a quiet inscription: pigment pressed into cotton, numbered by hand, sent to a single room somewhere on earth.

The Idea
Marqami was founded on a single conviction: that a wall, once chosen, deserves more than decoration. It deserves an inscription — something made slowly, signed, numbered, and intended to outlast the season it was hung.
We work with master ateliers across Europe and beyond. Cotton from Hahnemühle. Pigment inks rated for a century. Brushed-brass framing offered as an add-on, finished by hand. Every supplier, named.
Each edition begins as a photograph, a verse, or a wall the studio cannot stop thinking about — then drawn, redrawn, and released in numbers small enough that nothing leaves the atelier we would not hang in our own home.
The work travels widely. A Marqami edition has hung in apartments in Tokyo, lofts in Mexico City, country houses in the Cotswolds, and a single room above a bookshop in Lisbon. The mark, once made, is kept.
